Can anyone recommend what I should do when adding a new processor to my server.

1.) Should I just add new processor?
2.) Should I add new processor and re-install SQL?

Any ones help is appreciated.

I don't believe you have to do anything to enable multi-processor support.

(I'd add memory before I added another processor - more memory is always good - are you sure you are cpu bound? If you are not, another processor won't help)
