i am new joinee of this forum plz accept my warm wishes to everyone who are doing wonderful as a knowledge sharing process.
Let me brief u abt our infrasturture of the sms sites we have 3 different site with around 2500 clients all together out of 3 sites all are our primary site with the site systems lying on the same site servers it means there are three different site servers which are assinged the all the site systems role we have one central site to whom other two primary site reports i am handling the central site and also created the site hierarchy ........the security mode which we had selected is advanced security mode with the intergration with our active directory my mp_control_manager is experience some problem which is sms agent host (ccmexec.exe) is unable to update the certification information in active directory ..
The steps which i have follwed so far
1. Already checked and confirm the rights at system management container and local system account have given the apporpriate rights
2. As at some other forum someone suggested to modify the fqdn i.e rather than <smsserver>.<Domain>.<com> it should not include the smsserver name which i did
3.I have been also asked to check the dcom permissions which i have done and verified that the dcom has given proper rights
4.I have also asked to enable session state and enable parent paths which have been also done from my part
5.We have kerbros as a enabled protocol from site system to site databse connection though some from that suggested me to use named pipes as prefer protocol but i came to know it is not recommeded and even our site started some problems i.e lost its connectivity with the sms server
6.Then i have told to turn off show friendly http message as same time the reporting was not working
7.I finally found that our iis got corruted and i reinstelled it and after that our reporting start working again but still the mp_control _manager is encountering the same as it before
suggestions and your help in this matter would be highly appreciated
