Default Kodak Libraries

I need to get the current release of the full Kodak Imaging library for distribution. Does anyone know where I can purchase it?

"Kodak Imaging Professional for Windows" is now "eiStream Imaging Pro" . The web address is http://www.alliancegroup.co.uk/ImagePro.htm
The Kodak Imaging libraries (ImgEdit, ImgScan, ImgThumb, etc) are not distributable. Each user must purchase and install the application. Good news is the controls are part of 95,NT,and 2000 OS. Bad news XP dropped them.
Hope this helps.

Thanks. Expanded the ones off of the 2000 install CD. It appears that the installer made from my 2000 machine didn't update the complete set. Win 98 imaging and Groupwise imaging started to fail because the imgthumb.ocx didn't like the partial dll update. Added the complete img* and oi* dll/ocx set and all returned to normal. Since the installs are for 98/2000 only, no license violation!

In reply to Idowning's comment that the Kodak Imaging libraries are no longer available with Windows XP, it is worthy to note that the new Windows Imaging Acquisition Layer (WIA) that is installed together with XP can be used to replace some of the programming capabilities of the Kodak Image Controls that were dropped. In fact WIA extends some functionality by including Video capability - and it's FREE with XP.

You can find useful information regarding Kodak Image Controls and the WIA at:
http://www.ilixis.com/developer/kodak.html and

Imaging for Windows is now known as Global360 Imaging for Windows

It is available from

http://www.alliancegroup.co.uk/Wang-...r-Windows.html

Imaging for Windows is suitable for use with Windows XP

Imaging for Windows is also used in other applications such as PaperChase records management http://www.alliancegroup.co.uk/Recor...aperChase.html and Imager document management and imaging http://www.alliancegroup.co.uk/Docum...ent-Imager.htm
