Default Adding .ocx file created in VB 6.0 into Infopath

Hi

I have created ocx file in VB6.0 and registered in my
system using regsvr32.exe.
I try to add that control in Infopath 2003. It is giving
error "the control is marked as safe for initializing".
Please give suggestions regarding it.

Regards,
Murali

Hi,

You can package the OCX using the Package & Deployment Wizard. Choose the Package Type as Internet Package instead of Standard Setup Package. As the last option it will ask as marking the ocx as safe for scripting, which by default will be "No". You could change that to "Yes".
