Default Files needed to run a VB.Net Windows Apps

Hi
I have a simple 48kb exe that works fine on the PC a wrote it in. I would now like to run it on another PC on the network

I have installed Redistributable dotnetfx.exe (Framework 1.1) and mdac_typ.exe (2.7) on the client PC but the app throws the following error when loading

ERROR MESSAGE
Title: Common Language Runtime Debugging Services
Error: Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id = blah blah

The apps connects to SQL Server (but not when the exe loads)

Any help welcomed

Did you create a windows installer package to do this, or are you XCOPY'ng it? You will need any DLL references.

Did you write any errors in error-handling to the application log? Don't really know what the problem is unless you can find that. THere probably is some reference missing or something.

Thanks I will look into your suggestions

No, I haven't made an installer package. I half thought one could copy the exe to the client and just run the dotNet FrameWork
