Default Can't get VB.NET 2002 to get updates

When I try to update, it says my internet settings may need to be reconfigured. This is a known bug but MS wants $99.00 just to answer the phone. Does anyone know where I can get the fix for this?

Default

I have always errors when I try to do updates through visual studio's built in updater. This includes the 2003 version and it never worked on any machine that I installed it on...never. You might be better off to just go to Microsoft's site and download the update and install it manually. I wouldn't give them another $99 for something that should work automatically.
