Default Create COM Add in for Excel 2007

Hello,

I am fairly new to Visual Studio but I am very experienced with VBA.

I have read some material but I think I need some human help.

What I want to do is simple:

Create a COM-add in, compatible only with Excel 2007 which adds a new group with one button at the beginning of the home tab.

I am using Visual Studio 2008.

thanks,
tasos

Hi,

You need VSTO. Have you already installed it with your copy of visual studio? If so then just create a new project and choose Office Addon from project templates.
