Default Visual Studio .NET 2003 with .NET 2 Framework

Hi folks,

I don't know if any of you out there have come across this little problem but I am wanting to use the Login Controls that are available with the .NET Framework version 2. Now I have installed version 2 of the .NET Framework and I am using Visual Studio 2003 but I cannot for the life of me find the toolbox section for the Login Controls. I have gone through and looked to see if I can add them to my toolbox but I just cannot figure out which one it is.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thanks

Hi there,

Unfortunately, you can't. VS.NET 2003 targets .NET 1.x; Visual 2005 targets .NET 2.0

You can't mix the two....

You can get yourself a copy of the free Visual Studio versions, like Visual Web Developer Express Edition or C# / VB.NET Express so you can develop against the .NET 2 framework.

Cheers,

Imar
