No laughing, imagine us on a mac :-)

Whatever, the only huge difference with the celeron vs pentium processor is the way it handles the rounding of floating points which should not be a huge problem unless you do some real scientific stuff.

If Microsoft says "Minimum Requirements" it directly translates to " On a PC with this-and-that specs, our application WILL NOT run!". TrustMe.

Visual Studio 6 will do fine on your specs. Visual.Net on the minimum specs in your question - no way unless you have a lot of time for smoking and drinking coffee for each compilation is going to take ages!!!

In our language (afrikaans) we've got a saying (translating) "Buying Cheap is Buying expensive!!!"
