Default CLassic ASP in Visual Studio.NET

I wish to start using Visual Studio .NET for my classic asp developement.
What is the best practise to set up projects and the like for acces by multiple developers at the same time.
There are lots of Sites, sub sites and individual web pages within the web directory so the approach needs to be fairly global in that I don't want to set up one solution for each Area of the web site tree.

But I also need anyone to be able to access any page within the site and not get a read only page.

So in essence:
Can a solution be shared by more than one developer at a time?
What is the best practise for this situation?
