How you are starting the server?There are two ways,one way clicking with mouse on startup.bat file.This case u will not see the log info.

U might starting the application in the above way.

another way is from cmd prompt go to the appropriate directory of the tomcat home then start the application by typing startup at the cmd prompt.This case u can see the log information.With the log information u can find out the problem and solution as per the problem.

Many times it happens due to incorrect CLASSPATH or JAVA_HOME variable or CATALINA_HOME.

Pls send the detailed log information to provide the solution.
