Post Answer to question #1

I found a similar issue to problem number one at

The last post on the devshed forum topic, it says you can use array_merge to do what your looking for.

Php docs on array_merge

Here is my working script:

PHP Code:
            $first_array = array(
'name1' => 'value1',
'name2' => 'value2',
$second_array = array('name3'=>'value3');
$result array_merge((array)$first_array, (array)$second_array);
Array ( [name1] => value1 [name2] => value2 [name3] => value3 )
