Default Book Recommendation

I am a complete newbie at learning ASP.NET and a complete newbie to programming (unless you count basic HTML).

To begin my learning, I purchased [u]SAMS Teach Yourself ASP.NET in 24 Hours Complete Starter Kit</u>. This was WAAAAY over my head. I went all the way back to the basics and started with [u]ASP.Net For Dummies</u>, and this book is much more on my level.

So, knowing that I had to begin with the very basic of basics, what book(s) would one recommend for when I am done with [u]ASP.Net For Dummies</u>. Should I try the SAMS book again, or something more intermediate?
