Default Beginning OOP w/ C# or Beginning Visual C# 2012 Programming

Hi,

been enjoying Purdum's C# 3.0, but want to know how the Watson, Hammer, et. al. differs. Since I'm new to this, the differences between the two don't seem so vast, and I'm not sure if reading both is part of the learning process.

I'm also looking for suggestions as to next steps - books, classes. Anything would help.

Finally, are people more familiar with this learning process aware of any good websites with exercises and solutions for C# programs that are manageable for someone who's recently finished/finishing this book?

Thanks for the help!
