Default CDONTS and ActiveX in a DTS Package

I am creating a DTS Package to run on a schedule.
The DTS Package should send an email.

1. I Select the content into a DTSGlobalVariable (Variant) in an Execute SQL Task
2. On success I go to an ActiveX script task that takes the data out of the global and sends and email...

All runs fine when the objMail.Send is removed from the script... When the .Send is there, I get an error "ActiveX Scripting encountered a Run Time Error durring the execution of the script."

Clearly this takes place when CDONTS tries to send the email-- I have never had to set up a server to use CDONTS- it was always already done... Is there some setting for the target server?

I am here to help you, not do it for you.
That is, unless you hire me. I am looking for work.
