Default Angry Irishman

[ I am getting the same error as the angry Irishman, but have not solved the problem. The jquery file is in the proper place in the head. What other areas should I look at?[/QUOTE]

Angry Irishman? I hope you referring to Imaar not me. I am from Texas. I have long since stopped posting here. The only reason I replied is because this stuff ended up in my email box repeatedly. Now these days I prefer to get my .NET technical questions from Apress, Sitepoint and Pluralsight. The authors there don't seem to be as snappy and snarky as some the authors on this bulletin board seem to be. My advice to you, learning the material in this book is nice but it won't land you a job, even if you have total mastery of the information contained in the book. I would highly suggest that you learn AngularJS, Twitter BootStrap, JQuery Mobile and MVC in the Visual Studio Environment if you want a boost to your career. That is the direction in which things are headed. Don't get me wrong this book is a very nice quick start tool and can help you get your feet wet in the .NET environment in a relative short amount of time, but it is not going to give you skill set that is going to land you a job in the IT industry as a .NET developer. If you want to really boost your career, I would recommend one or all of the following books after you finish this one:

https://www.packtpub.com/web-develop...net-developers

http://www.amazon.com/Professional-A...1&keywords=mvc

http://www.amazon.com/jQuery-Mobile-...=jquery+mobile

http://www.amazon.com/Teach-Yourself...=jquery+mobile

http://www.amazon.com/Learning-Angul...ords=AngularJS

I guess that I have been somewhat unfair to Imaar on my reviews of the follow up version of this particular book on Amazon, because I was frustrated that he wouldn't write a book like this one except with mobile technologies involved like Twitter BootStrap, JQuery Mobile and AngularJS. I will delete my review of the 4.5.1 version of this book off of Amazon immediately.
