Default Probably stupid question

OK, I'm using bits and pieces from the book as the basis for my own code, but one of things I've borrowed is the PostMessage page (with the smilies and formatting buttons). I've pretty much copied this area, but the javascript call gives me an error that document.PostMessage.Message is null or not an object. I've checked the code, and the text box ID is Message (and the page name is PostMessage), so I don't know. It has to be something stupid simple that I'm overlooking. Any thoughts?
