Default Schedule backups from hosting company

Appreciate your help, afraid I'm far more of a developer than DBA and haven't used remote database hosting before...

Looking to develop a website that will be hosted by a third party hosting company (ASP.Net website w/ SQL Server 2000 database). The hosting company does provide Enterprise Mgr access to the database.

They say backups are our responsibility (they do their own but there is no access to these). Obviously I want to do remote-based backups on a daily or so basis, from a machine in our location.

Is there any suggestions for how I can automate this task? The crude option of me logging onto the server remotely through Ent Mgr at 1am in the morning or whenever obviously isn't particularly attractive!

Thanks again for your advice!
