Default Dynamic Drawing using Access VBA

I've been trying to do a small experiment with my Access database. I have a database of stars and would like to draw a 2D image of the stars and then animate the graphic by rotating them around the X/Y axis. I've been able to do it by printing one report for one image and then another image with the starts rotated one degree, and so on. In rapid success it looks to be animated. What a cluge! Is there a better object available other than the Access report object? Optimally I would want a drawing canvas that draws and displays with every action that I do to the canvas. Or even to create bitmaps and flip them in rapid succession would be better than using the reports. Help!

I'm using MS Access 2003. Thanks for your advise.
