Default Customised Experience with Themes

Hi All

I am in the middle of planning an application and wanted to enable each user/ client that logs into the application to have a customised experience.

My thoughts were to create a separate theme for each client and then store the theme name within their account record within a SQL DB. So when they log into the application the theme name is served up and assigned to Page.Theme.

Does this sound right or could anyone suggest a more effective approach?

The application could potentially be rolled out to 500 clients so could mean 500 themes!

Another alternative is to use CSS and store the whole CSS info within their DB record??

Many thanks in advance

Rit
