Default xsl links to target iframe

I have an xml document that is rendered using xsl which forms a table full of html links.
This is loaded into an iframe of a HTML document. I am trying to target a second iframe on the page from the links created from the xml document. This is what I have, but it is not working any help figuring it out will be greatly appreciated. "front" is the name and id of the iframe that I am attempting to target. I'm only concerned with this working in IE.

<table border="1">
  <xsl:for-each select="movielist/movie">
        <td WIDTH="300">
         <xsl:element name="a">
        <xsl:attribute name="href"><xsl:value-of select="coverfront"/></xsl:attribute>
        <xsl:attribute name="target">front</xsl:attribute>
        <xsl:value-of select="title"/>
   <td WIDTH="120" align="center"><xsl:value-of select="mpaarating/displayname"/></td>
    <td WIDTH="84" align="center"><xsl:value-of select="runtime"/></td>
