Default Filing the AppleScript Source code

Hi, I just bought the book "Beginning AppleScript" and downloaded the source code from this site.
Having never programmed before, I don't have a clue as to where I am supposed to store this source code on my computer.
Perhaps it doesn't matter?
Thank you!

Do you want to be better or do you want to be good?

Where are you supposed saving thi code on your computer? Anywhere you want, in fact, in a foder named "AppleScripts" in your "home" for instance. It is not very relevant. The matter is: with what script editor or developer tool you prefer work?
