I have an Access 2000 database that is to be used for searching for data
on common software problems. Within each record in the underlying talbe
there are 2 fields defined as hyperlink. One is used to open a web page
which gives further data on the problem, the other is used to open a word
document on our network.
They work as hyperlinks and get the reference documents when clicked but
they do have drawbacks. The main one is that they minimize Access so that
when you exit the web or Word page, the Access form that called the
document is not visible.
Has anybody else had this sort of problem and does anybody know the answer
OR a better way of doing the job?
