access thread: Drop Down

Message #1 by "George Oro" <george@c...> on Mon, 3 Jun 2002 19:01:29 +0400
Hi Guys,

I have a couple of drop down fields, what I want is, if I click anywhere (except the arrow) in that field automatic the list will
view.

In double-click it is working e.g..

	me.cboNationality.dropdown

but I have a different command in my double-click.

Any idea...

Cheers,
George

Use the OnEnter event. As soon as the cursor moves to the combobox, it
will drop down.

John,
Thanks for the tips, but is there any chance to put the command on Click Events?
Because for some reason mostly on Edit Mode, the user will just click any of the drop down and edit.

Note: all my combo box arrow are hidden while not in focus to uniform my field look.

Cheers,
George

You must use either the On Enter Event or the Got Focus Event. The
Click Event does not fire until after the AfterUpdate Event, therefore
the dropdown will never work.
