access thread: enter key. barcode

Message #1 by "Bill Anton" <banton@r...> on Wed, 5 Jun 2002 20:52:24
I have a small application which reads a barcode into a form.. I would
like to put the barcode for the enter key on the form so after confirming
the correct data is in the text box the users can scan the enter bar code
to leave record. I need to know what the enter barcode would be..
Thanks
Bill

For a barcode scanner my office has, the technique would be to specify
to the scanner that it add a postamble (sic) of an enter key. (A preamble
is a few characters sent before the data scanned and a postamble is a
few characters sent after the scanned data.)
