Message #1 by "jeby" <jeby@c...> on Sat, 29 Jun 2002 16:06:09 +0530
Hello,
I would like to know how a form can be posted to another (like
formname.submit in ASP)? I need to retrieve the values of the previous
form in the second form (request("fieldname") ). Please help.

Thanks & Regards,
Ms. Jeby George

You can generally put the value into a session variable and retrieve it
for any other form or page.

(Application variables are generally not what you want.)

If you want to go across browser sessions then cookies (or the client
database) may be appropriate.
