Hiya all,

I have a problem with my install of PHP (WIN32 with PWS), It does not

seem to save cookies, but lets me use the setcookie() function without

any errors. Can anyone help? Is it something to change in the php.ini

file?

yours,

Marc Jones.

how are you setting your cookies, SESSION cookies remain in memory only

and would therefore not be saved.

Hiya,

I was using - setcookie("myvar", "thedata", time() + 3600);

but when I move to the next php page (from a form submission) the variable

$myvar is not available.

any ideas?

marcus :o)

Hi,

I'm not sure but I think that you set a cookie with " myvar " name on

client so if you wanna read data entry of cookie you can use this :

             $myvar = $HTTP_COOKIE_VARS['myvar'];

So, you can see that your data entry of cookie - when you gnerate it -

will be in $myvar variable,

I think this is right, but I am not sure :)

Thanks
