Hi Sam.

I too have never manged to install the separate php and Mysql onto any

server no matter what instructions I followed. (Guess I am a ludite)

The great news is that I found TRIAD which is an exe file that installs

apache,php,Mysql automatically into windows. (Just click and there you go)

You can find the programme on www.phpgeek.com.

They are in the process of upgrading so you should download vesion 2.11

and the upgrade 4.1 installing 2.11 first.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Kirk

Hi Sam;

I might be reading this message wrong, but if you are using Apache as your

server then you dont save your php files in the www folder(which is for

IIS)....you have to save it in the Apache directory in the sub

folder 'htdocs'.
