beginning_php thread: Capturing the IP Address

Message #1 by "Jon Shoreman" <Jon.Shoreman@b...> on Wed, 13 Feb 2002 18:24:42
Following on from my request to capture the URL ($HTPP_REFERER)

How do I capture the IP Address? I am guessing it will be $HTPP_something

So my next question is where do I find a list of all the environment

variables?!

Hi,

Your guess is wrong :)

the correct one is $REMOTE_ADDR

Take a look at the PHP Manual, at section Predefined Variable

Thanks
