beginning_php thread: Help on PHP_SELF

Message #1 by "Han" <hwbl@y...> on Sat, 4 May 2002 04:45:24
Hi,

I'm running a PHP4 on PWS/WIN98. The normal PHP codes run okay. But
everytime when I click on the link using PHP_SELF, the browsing will
display a mesg saying that PHP_SELF is undefined. Can any one shed me
some lights please? Thanks in advance.

are you using $PHP_SELF? Make sure you have the $ on there. I just ask
because you didn't have it on there in the message. Also, if you are using
it within a function you may need to do a "global $PPH_SELF;" I had to use
that one in my current project.

If register_globals is turned off in your php.ini file, I think you may
need to use $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['PHP_SELF'];
