beginning_php thread: Problem with Treemenu

Message #1 by "John Omokore" <omokore@y...> on Tue, 14 May 2002 15:21:45
Hi there,

I was trying to use your treemenu, but ran into a
slight problem.

The treemenu is working fine except for the following:

My story:

I have a login home page which passes a variable
called $kore to the main framed page with the treemenu
on the left frame.

I want to be able to append the value of $kore to
"form.php" url as in line 4 below.

.About|about.php|main
.<b>Main Menu
.<b>Admin</b>
..Add User|form.php?kore=<?php echo $kore ?>|main
..Delete User|javascript: alert('Item 1.1.1');

When I browse the site and intend to click on "Add
User" menu, the value of $kore is not substituted.

NB: The following PHP script is above the left framed page, where the treemenu is displayed.
And it shows above the page that $kore has a value.

<?php

require 'functions.php';

$kore = $kore;

echo $kore;
?>

Many thanks for your anticipated response.

Best regards,
JohnO

The only reason this wouldn't work is if the script didn't know what $kore
was, or $kore was set to an empty string.

> $kore = $kore;

This line is totally unnecessary, what are you trying to achieve?
