beginning_php thread: a question about http

Message #1 by spam@k... on Mon, 24 Feb 2003 09:41:41 -0600
Okay, this is more an http question rather than a PHP question, but you guys are so smart, I thought you
might know. Looking in my access logs I see the below. What the heck is PROPFIND? Or OPTIONS? Last time I checked the RFC on http,
the only types of request I saw were POST, GET, and HEAD.

The follow up question would be, where would these get stored in PHP server variables? $_REQUEST, maybe?

I don't have the time to read these, but a simple google search led me to
these useful links:

http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2518.html

http://www.atstake.com/research/advisories/2000/a090700-3.txt

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/wss/wss/_we
bdav_propfind.asp
 (msdn link made tiny: http://tinyurl.com/6cqb)

Take care,

Nik
