I would like to know if anyone can solve my problems.
I have used Crystal Reports 8.0 to create a number of
reports. The data source was an ODBC connection (SQL
server) with a logon to a server as sa, password " "
(blank) on a windows 95 operating system. The project
utilizing the reports has gone live, but at the
client, the server has a 'sa' password other than " "
(blank) and an error is generated "run-time error
'205999' Cannot open SQL server". I have researched
the Seagate crystal reports support site but have been
unable to find a solution for the problem.
Further I decided to then implement the Reports
Designer Component in Visual Basic 6.0 (The
application was written in vb6). Due to the fact the
project has already been written, I added the Designer
component with the project already open. Visual Basic
subsequently crashed (the error being "Out of Memory")
I would appreciate it if I could have information on a
patch for either of the problems or some advice.
