You can capture each value in a WhilePrintingRecords; StringVar Field1; type

of fashion and show the variable in a footer.

For example:

<the capture - each is separate formula placed in a detail section>

**********

WhilePrintingRecords;

StringVar Field1;

Field1 := MyFirstColumnVariable

**********

WhilePrintingRecords;

StringVar Field2;

Field2 := MySecondColumnVariable

**********

WhilePrintingRecords;

StringVar Field3;

Field3 := MyThirdColumnVariable

**********

etc.

<the show -- each is separate formula placed side-by-side in a footer>

WhilePrintingRecords;          WhilePrintingRecords;

WhilePrintingRecords;

StringVar Field1;              StringVar Field2;            StringVar

Field3;

Obviously, to do this you must have a finite list of variables that you want

to show.

also u can do that by;

right click the section you want to format, say detail section then

click the Format Section, then click the Layout Tab, and

specify the width of the column and the gap of each, also select the

printing

direction...

im using cr 8, but also applicable to cr 7
