Hello Michel,

I was getting the same error with you lastweek. The database path does not

cause this err because we are binding the datasource at run-time.

I resolved this problem by trying to install CR8 into each workstation and

it worked (then remove CR8 from Windows and it's still working in Windows 98

but not in Windows 95)

I think the problem is that when we package the project, VB6 did not include

some CR8 COM DLL but I did not find it yet.

Try this way!

Best Regards,

Chieu Trung

Hi Chieu Trung

Yes we're having the same problem, so does anyone

know which dll files to include in a VB project package,

to resolve the error "Physical Database not found", for the

crviewer??

Thanks in advance

Michel Medawar.

What is the database you are using?

If access you can set the datafiles(0) property

if SQLServer/ Oracle set the connectionstring

1. Please read the chain in crystal reports

http://p2p.wrox.com/view.asp?list=crystal_reports&id=123488

2. Let me assume that you are planning to display a serial no 1, 2...

etc in 0001, 0002 format.

    First create a Formula with this code

WhilePrintingRecords;

NumberVar sNo;

Stringvar sSerial;

sNo := sNo+1;

sSerial:=Right("0000"+ Trim(CStr(sNo,0)),4);

This will display what you may want.

Good Luck

Preethi

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

Hi Michel,

I just copy a para from that site:

Step 1: I get the path of th database in to Database_With_Path

    You can get this through

Step 2:Add the following code

CrestalReport1.DataFiles(0)=3DDatabase_With_Path

If you have more than 1 databases (Not tables) you may have to add

datafiles(1), datadiles(2)  etc.

If you don't know the name or if the name is different fom machine to

machine

cnn.properties("Current catalog").Value may return the database with

path

(I assume that you are using ADO Connection)

  After adding the code you can use

CrystalReport1.Action =3D1

Good Luck

Preethi
