Message #1 by "rajendran rajkumar" <rajkumarr_78@r...> on 10 Oct 2002 08:48:31 -0000
i have developed some reports in crystal report version 7.0 using
sql queries(.qry file).
while preview generation,i get the following error "xBase
error:Could not open the file."
followed by "can not open database"
followed by "file not found"
any ideas?

pls give the suggestions.

note:
my Operating System is Windows xp.

Hi

if you are using your report to connect to different databases from which
you created the report them you must use setlogoninfo and not logonsever in
vb.

thanx for u'r reply dheerj.

but the problem is,i get the error message when i try to see the
preview in crystal report itself.

the following steps i did:
first i create the simple query file (.qry) using ODBC
connection.
and i create the report using created qry file.
now i place the selected fields in report and press preview tab.it
shows error message?

plz comment?

note:
this procedure was worked in windows NT,98.But at present my OS is
xp.
