I know, sessions are bad, but we use them. So, with that being said,
here's my question.
We have Win2K, IIS5, and ASP3.0.
What I wanted to to was place all the user session data into and
object. Just a simple one. All it really would have is properties, and as
of yet no methods. The problem is, of course, that an object created in
VBScript will not be recognized on the next page. (I tried many ways,
really ;-) )
What I would like to know, is anyone doing anything simliar, and how are
they doing it? Thru a COM object, disconnected recordset, or other method.
p.s. If it's a COM object, can someone give examples in C++ (NOT using
Visual C++). I've been trying to pour thru examples, but they always end
in "Using ATL in VC++" at the end of any article about COM and C++.
