Modify the field in the database so that it contains "" rather than
default. Then you will only have one thing to test for.

Subject: [proasp_codeclinic] Problems with Null
I have a knowledge base that allows users to contribute their own
On the contribute page it has an optional field for Email address. In
knowledge base when it lists someone's contribution that does not have
email address present in the database I want it to output "No Email
in the email spot. It works fine if I enter the person from inside the
database but if the person submits it from the web it doesn't recognize
the email field as being null...
If arrEmail(0, numBoxes) <> "" Or Not IsNull(arrEmail(0, numBoxes))
strEmailMes =3D arrEmail(0, numBoxes)
strEmailMes =3D "No Email Given"
Above is the code I use to check if the entry is not Null...Is there
something I am missing? If I switched to checking for it to be Null and
not Null would that somehow change the outcome? Any suggestions?
