proasp_codeclinic thread: Cookies.Expires

Message #1 by "Murali Natarajan" <Murali_Natarajan@r...> on Tue, 17 Jul 2001 15:42:18
Expires is for setting a time period, ExpiresAbsolute is for specifying
a
date.

<% Response.Cookies("User").Expires =3D 0 %>

or

<% Response.Cookies("User").ExpiresAbsolute =3D now %>

should do the trick

Subject: [proasp_codeclinic] Cookies.Expires

Hi,

I have the following line of code in my asp page to expire a cookie.
This
doesn't seem to work. I'd appreciate any help regarding the same.
    <% Response.Cookies("User").Expires =3D Date - 10 %>
When I response.write the value after executing the above statement in
a
different page, it still prints the value. How do I really expire a
cookie ?

Thank you.
