Access 2000

: Dear Ken,
: What a nice of you to write the entire codes! Thanks for millions. You
are so right about not using a Do while statement. Instead I should use the
If statement when checking the email address. Thank you. Unfortunately, I
cannot get my main problem to work. All the fields other than 'SubmitDate'
field are working and passing the users input from the form page. For some
reason, date is being captured and displayed on the web page, such as "Thank
you for registering 12/23/02, but the date does not get actually passed to
the table in the databse. I will keep searching for the answer.

...and what code are you using now? Your original code didn't echo the date
to the browser, nor did my code.

Your original, posted, code doesn't work because you are using an INSERT
statement to attempt to insert the date. You can't do that. You need to use
an UPDATE statement because you are updating an existing record. INSERT is
for inserting a *new* record.
