Message #1 by Ankur Kalsi <ankurak@q...> on Thu, 29 Mar 2001 09:53:16 -0800
I fixed it. There were some message boxes in the DLL and there were causing
the problem.
Thanks for you help...

Is your function compiled into a COM object and registered on the machine
that is serving the ASP page?

exactly what it says man! You cannot use parentheses when calling a sub.

if you are expecting a return value, use this syntax

value = function(parameter1, parameter2)

otherwise use this syntax

function parameter1, parameter2

I am trying to call a function from a DLL I created. It creates an instance
of the DLL using Server.CreateObject, but when I try to call the function it
gives me the following error:
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0414'
Cannot use parentheses when calling a Sub

Does anybody what is going on and what is the solution of this problem.

Thanks in advance.
