Did you try Remote Scripting?

recalling with JavaScript

Hi everyone,
What I'm trying to do is a little crazy so bare with me... and I'll try
to
give you the slimmed down version.
I have a function in Client-Side-Javascript on one page that requests
the
output value of a an ASP function on another page. The pages are linked

via a "Page Object" if you are familiar with Visual Interdev. I don't
know the specifics of these "Page Objects" so don't ask, but if you have
a
better solution on how to reference another page, the by all means.

Here is my code on the page with the JavaScript:
<!--
<script language=3D"JavaScript">
<!--
function LoginButton()
{
    var CallObject =3D Login.execute.CheckUser();
    var ReturnValue =3D CallObject.return_value;
    alert(ReturnValue);
}
//-->
</script>
-->
(in the CallObject variable "Login" is the name of the other ASP page
and "CheckUser" is the function I'm trying to access.)
Now, there is the "Page Object", that references to the other page,
above
this code.

and on the Login.asp file my function reads something like this:

<!--
<script Language=3D"VBScript" RUNAT=3D"Server">
Function CheckUser()

CheckUser =3D 0

End Function
</script>
-->

Any solutions are welcome.
Thanks
Julius T
