I think this is what's wrong. I'm not completely sure.

If you are using the ASPNETDB.MDF SQL Server Express file in the App_Data folder you need to have that file be given security permission for ASP.NET machine. In the Windows Explorer click on the MDF file's Properties. In the Security tab add the ASP.NET Machine account and give it full permissions.

Thanks for your help but it doesn't work.

It's so strange. I did configured other DB and run very well but not with this ASPNETDB for the BEER.

I have SQL Server 2005.

That seems a bit radical. If your hand hurts, just cut it off? Hopefully there's more to this ...

Your account info above says that you're running this on a Windows 2003 server, so it sounds like a deployment problem. I never recommend deploying with that auto-attachment feature of SQL Express 2005. Did you catch the word "Express" I just mentioned? How many production servers are using the free Express edition of SQL 2005? I hope none! That means you'll have to read the deployment chapter and set up a real SQL DB, and not use that auto-attach thing in App_Data.

If you insist, you can probably make SQL Express work on a production server but I am not the one to help you with that.

Eric
