How do i update table using code builder??

Hi guys
it might sound silly but i'm trying to update certtain coulmn in a table which for now is consist from tow records i use the update query builder but as soon as i hit the update i noticed that the field i want to update is updated BUT BOTH RECORDS UPDATE , all i need is to update 1 record at a time...i have tried the WHERE STATMENT but no use
any suggestion

Hi mate, can you do an insert into the dbs?? can you send me the code for an insert and let me have a look..are you using web matrix?? MSDE?
