Default Submit to a Database Problems

Hi:

Appreciate any thoughts on the following issue that I have been tearing my hair out over the last 2 days!!

Problem: "Button Property Field/Action/Submit/Define Action Parameters/ Enable Submit Command and buttons/Submit to" does not give me a choice to select a "Database".

Usecase:

I create an Access Database from scratch using the "Design View" in access.

I then go to InfoPath and go through the process to Design a New Form / New From Data Connection.

It all works fine. I add fields etc.

I try to a "submit Button" at the bottom of the page and it does not give me the option of a "database". The first option it gives me is "email".

What am I missing?

I am using
 Infopath 2003 SP1
Access2003 SP1
Win2k SP4

Thanks!

Ken

Default

I figured it out!

Basically, the access table I used as the "Main/primary" data connection for this form contained a field that had the type set to "OLE".

InfoPath does not like this (and hyperlink, and memo)and so it decides to disable submit to that database from InfoPath. OF Course, it doesn't pop up an Alert to tell me about the "help" it just gave me :-)

Ah well...

Ken
