Default Rules - update one control based on another

The book describes a few examples of utilizing rules. I'm particularly interested in the one described as, "Update a contact e-mail field on an order after a customer has been chosen." My issue is this: I want to set my Project drop-down listbox based on the value selected in the Client drop-down listbox. I know the SQL code I want, but I don't know how to do this in InfoPath.
