Default "Professional JavaScript"?

Hi,
I am reading "Begining JavaScript" and I must admit I have fun with it... on the back cover of this book there is a schematic figure that shows several possible directions a JavaScript programmer could take to further his/her mastery of web programming and titles that cover related topics. One of those titles is "Professional JavaScript", however it was printed 1999 and may seem outdated...
My question is: would you go for that book even if it is from 5 years ago and if anyone read it I would appreciate to learn his/her expirience with "Professional..."

Basically, you’ll want to know that the former Wrox Press Book Company was liquidated in the spring of 2003 and no longer exists. The books were sold to various companies. Wiley acquired only 34 of the over 350 books and the rights to the www.wrox.com website address. You’ll find the complete list of books currently available from Wiley Wrox Press at
http://www.wrox.com/misc-pages/booklist.shtml

If A Press at http://support.apress.com also did not acquire the book, it is no longer a valid publication.

Note: The Professional JavaScript and the Professional JavaScript 2E are both available through APress.
