I have made an exact copy of the script for the password protection pages using a database, but it will not work. All that happens is you type in the username and password, press submit and the logon page reappears. No matter how many times you do this, it still happens. PWS is running, as is the correct OBDC data source. Any ideas?

I notice that you posted this last year and receied no replies. I was wondering if you ever managed to get it working? I can get the logon page to load and give me access if the correct user name and password is entered, but if an incorrect username/password is entered it allows me to retry once only before crashing. The offending code is, apparently: -
adoRecordset.Open(mySQL,"DSN=SecureUsersDSN");

Any ideas?
