Enter key does not work in window.showModalDialog

Hi,
I am using a showmodalwindow to open a window in my .net app. the modal window prompts me to enter the vendorId and it has got submit button also. when i enter the vendorId and click enter buttton the button doesn't gets fired. Can anybody pls help me to make the button gets fired when i click the enter key. Any help is highly appreciated.
