Default Fedora Installation

I have recently bought 915GAV Intel Mother Board with 3.0GHz Processor, 1GB RAM [512 X 2] and HDD 160GB SATA. I have installed Win 2000 and am trying to Install Redhat 9.0. My HDD is not being detected by REDHAT and am unable to install the OS. I have tried XANDROS and it got installed well. Heard that REDHAT Enterprise Will have the 2.6 Kernel and will install without fail.

Please let me know the process and way to install REDHAT on my SATA HDD. Also I have downloaded FEDORA CORE 4, which comes with 2.6.11 Kernel and have tried the installation, it also is not able to detect my SATA HDD. I have installed the same on another system, which is also dual boot [Win2K Server with FEDORA], once after completing the installation, the system is directly booting with Windows 2000 Server, even I have selected the default boot as FEDORA.

Please help.

Thanks

- Srivathsa
